Each year, 4,000 babies don't make it to their 1st birthday for preventable reasons. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Friends of Children Fund provide information for new parents that can help prevent sleep-related infant deaths, including Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome (SUIDS) and accidental suffocation. By sharing the right knowledge, the AAP can help new parents and their newborns sleep safe and sound.
Since 1930, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has pursued its mission to support the health of all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The Friends of Children Fund (FCF) was established so that the AAP could respond quickly to emerging child health issues.
You can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. For every photo donated to the American Academy of Pediatrics, Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. gave $1 to that cause. Photo donations to the AAP ended January 20, 2017. The AAP will receive $30,000.
