How it works

For every photo donated, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 US to the American Diabetes Association. That $1 US helps the Association host kids at Diabetes Camp, where they can make friends in an environment built just for them. It's a safe place for campers to swim, hike, play, create, and grow—all while learning how to better deal with the disease. It takes 1,496 photos to send one child to Diabetes Camp.

The American Diabetes Association fights for those affected by diabetes and funds research to prevent, cure, and manage the disease. In communities nationwide, the Association delivers educational programs and provides useful information to people of all ages. Diabetes Camps allow kids to have a great time participating in traditional camp activities while connecting with other children who face the same challenges. Health care professionals oversee daily diabetes care and help campers learn to live successfully with their disease.

You can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. For every photo donated to the American Diabetes Association, Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. gave $1 to that cause. Photo donations to the Association ended on November 30, 2015. The Association will receive $30,000.
