Due to the number of children with eye and vision problems across the US, Optometry Cares – The AOA Foundation created InfantSEE®, a no-cost public health program developed to provide professional eye care for infants nationwide. Vision problems are substantially easier to correct if detected early. Under this program, participating optometrists provide a comprehensive infant eye assessment between 6 and 12 months as a no-cost public service. Optometry Cares – The AOA Foundation strives to make vision care an essential part of infant wellness, for an improved quality of life.
