How it works

For every photo donated, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 US to Baby Buggy. That $1 US helps provide for the safety and health of a child while parents get the long-term support they need to help lift the family out of poverty. As part of this, Baby Buggy provides cribs to families for their new babies. It takes 100 photos to provide one crib to a family living below the poverty line.

Living in poverty is a challenge for new parents and their newborns. That’s why Jessica Seinfeld founded Baby Buggy in 2001. Baby Buggy takes an innovative, child-focused approach to curbing generational poverty. By pairing access to critical childhood items with parental enrollment in anti-poverty programs, Baby Buggy provides for the safety and health of a child while parents get the long-term support they need to help lift the family out of poverty.

To date, Baby Buggy has provided over 17 million items to more than 139 anti-poverty program sites in 17 markets.
