How it works

For every photo you donate, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 US to the Breast Reconstruction Awareness Campaign. That $1 US assists a low-income woman undergoing breast reconstruction surgery with costs of travel to and from the hospital. It takes fifty photos to help one woman undergoing breast reconstruction.

The Breast Reconstruction Awareness Campaign is sponsored by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Plastic Surgery Foundation (The PSF). The goal of the campaign is to educate, engage and empower women to make the reconstruction decision that is best for them following a diagnosis with breast cancer. This involves informing women, family members, caregivers, and the media that the breast cancer loop remains open until a woman is informed of all her breast reconstruction options.
