How it works

For every photo you donate, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 US to DoSomething.org. That $1 US helps support the Birthday Mail program that gets handmade birthday cards to homeless children on their special day. It takes 1 photo to give a child in a shelter a happier birthday.

DoSomething.org is one of the largest global organizations for young people and social change. Our 5.2 million members (and counting!) tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere.

This summer, our members will make birthday cards for children experiencing homelessness. About 3 million people in the US deal with homelessness every year. 40% of those are families, and 1 out of every 6 are younger than six years old. Your photo will allow our young people to make heartfelt handmade cards, to make these children's birthdays a little happier.
