Now in its tenth year, Nothing But Nets has raised $60 million to help deliver nearly ten million bed nets to families in danger of contracting malaria. Inspired by sports columnist Rick Reilly, and created by the United Nations Foundation, hundreds of thousands of people have joined the campaign since it began in 2006. In addition to raising funds to send nets, Nothing But Nets raises awareness and advocates for critical malaria funding for the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative and The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. It only costs $10 to help save lives from this deadly disease.
The Global Moms Relay is an opportunity to share stories of motherhood that inspire action to help improve the lives of mothers and children everywhere.
The Global Moms Relay will be active starting before Mother's Day until after Father's Day - May 4 to June 17. Every time you share a Global Moms Relay post with a friend or through your social networks, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 to one of three global initiatives: Nothing But Nets, U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Girl Up.
You can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. For every photo donated to Nothing But Nets, Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. gave $1 to that cause. Photos donated to Nothing But Nets ended July 31, 2016. Nothing But Nets will receive $30,000.
