Safe Kids Worldwide is a global network of organizations dedicated to keeping all kids safe from preventable injuries. They do this by providing parents and caregivers with practical and proven resources to protect their kids.
Throughout the world, almost one million children die of preventable injuries every year. In the United States, injuries are the leading cause of death to children. Safe Kids works with 600 coalitions in the US and in 23 countries to protect children by reducing traffic injuries, drownings, falls, burns, poisonings, and more.
Safe Kids Worldwide was founded in 1988 by Children’s National Medical Center and Johnson & Johnson.
