How it works

For every photo you donate, Johnson & Johnson gives $1 US to Safe Kids Worldwide. That $1 US helps families learn how to prevent life-threatening injuries at a Safe Kids Day event. It takes two photos to teach one family how to prevent injuries.

Most people are surprised to learn that preventable injuries are the number one killer of kids in the United States. Around the world, more than one million children every year die from serious, yet preventable injuries—like car crashes, drownings, fires or falls. Safe Kids Worldwide is a global nonprofit dedicated to protecting children from these kinds of serious injuries and deaths that don't have to happen.

During the month of April 2014, you can help Johnson & Johnson and Safe Kids Worldwide protect these children by donating a photo. For every photo you donate, Safe Kids will receive $1 to support Safe Kids Day, an initiative to celebrate kids, prevent injuries, and save lives.

Throughout April, families across the country, along with celebrity heroes Drew Barrymore, Mark Wahlberg, Pete Sampras and more, will celebrate Safe Kids Day with events and awareness activities in communities all over the United States. Please join us and help make every kid a safe kid.
