Every day, six children die on Mexico’s roads, the majority of them killed while traveling to and from school. Less than 13% of Mexican families with children use car seats or seatbelts while driving, which is one of the reasons why road traffic injuries are the number one killer of children in the country. Safe Kids Mexico is dedicated to protecting children in cars and on the road, and with the help of Donate a Photo, they can educate thousands of children and parents through outreach activities at schools and an online awareness campaign.
Safe Kids Worldwide is a global network of organizations committed to keeping all kids safe from preventable injuries. They do this by providing parents and caregivers with practical and proven resources to protect their kids. Safe Kids works with 600 coalitions in the US and in 23 countries to protect children by reducing traffic injuries, drownings, falls, burns, poisonings and more.
Safe Kids Worldwide was founded in 1988 by Children's National Medical Center and Johnson & Johnson.
