Johnson & Johnson is working with Bosom Buds of Scotland to make the cancer journey as positive as possible for patients and their families by helping care for and comfort cancer patients.
Bosom Buds of Scotland was founded in West Lothian, in November 2009 by a mother who set out to help her 23-year-old daughter, Kate, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. It began as a way of saying thank you to all of the nonprofits that helped Kate, and to help other cancer patients, regardless of cancer type or diagnosis. Bosom Buds works to raise awareness about the diseases and also helps care for and comfort cancer patients. The organisation donates funds to St John’s Oncology Unit and Breakthrough, supplies human hair wigs to patients in need, assists with IVF treatment costs, provides mastectomy bras, arranges pamper days, and provides post-treatment exercise classes, personal trainer instruction, meditation courses, and yoga classes.
